Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Arias.
Hi Maria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My family and I arrived in the United States on March 6, 2016, fleeing the Venezuelan dictatorship, leaving a whole life and history behind, with just a couple of suitcases and many dreams, we arrived in this country, which opened its doors for us.
Like all immigrants, we work in multiple things, among which I can mention (me: Cleaning office, painting houses, and Uber) I also worked in a non-profit institution called Catholic Charities as a social visitor to pregnant women and children for three years. My children and husband also worked on multiple things. In 2019, in union with one of my sons, the idea of creating Paradigm615 was born, where we joined my son’s experience in vehicle wrapping, acquired in his previous job. And my knowledge in informational, graphic design, public relations, and administration.
After starting to work on our project, the pandemic arrived, which was a great opportunity to offer our services to those businesses that began to seek to boost their businesses that were hit by the country’s closure situation. So little by little our business has been growing:
1. Supporting small entrepreneurs to give their businesses an image.
2. Working with large companies like FedEx stamping their brand on their trucks in the city of Nashville.
3. Providing our services to other companies in other cities of the United States such as Las Vegas, California, Orlando, Kentucky, Miami, and Atlanta.
4. Looking to innovate with new products and services, always thinking of helping our clients, because if they are good in their business we will be good too.
At the present time, we offer wraps for color change in cars, commercial wraps, any type of signs for businesses, vinyl on walls, floors, and any surface. Business cards and reloadable gif cards. QR menus among other products used to promote your business.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a road with ups and downs. Being a migrant and not fully understanding the system can be complicated but never an obstacle that will not stop. In my case, not having a complete command of the Language makes some movements difficult for me (that’s why I’m working on that). But My children if they master it perfectly.
Due to the shortage of some materials, at present, it does not cause some difficulties. But there is nothing that with dedication, passion, enthusiasm, and a good attitude cannot be solved.
